Okay, so I wont get to be beautifully groomed whilst laying down but, there are those all important things for my comfort and safety (sssh! even the odd treat if agreed.)
A small room but , containing all the latest equipment and trusted products to ensure my safety and her's comes first. Oh yeah! I get my teeth brushed , my paw pads and nose moisturised too.
Prices stated as 'from' allowing for Dog Size, Breed and Coat Condition.
Nails cut and filed - dependant upon dog compliance.
All the basic maintenance plus with a : Bath, Blow Dry, Brush Out, Teeth brushed (dog permitting), Hygiene Clip, Paw Hair Trim and ear hair plucked (if needed.)
Basic Maintenance Plus and Full Groom: an all over standard clip off, including legs. External Anal Gland Expression is available upon request and with your vets agreement, incurs a £5 additional charge. (please also note. matted coats incur an extra charge of £5/10 depending on how much matting there is, to cover time and blade renewal.)
These are breed standard clips or variations of. These styles command more time and techniques.
This is an intense rake out of dead undercoat, maximum of two hours with a couple of breaks. For larger dogs who have intense blown coats this may require two appointments to get to where the coat is in good condition. Bath, dry and tidy trim up of furnishings are an add on. A full price is given on consultation.
Removal of dead coat by hand. Prices will be agreed upon consultation and as per carding, this may require second appointments. Bathing drying and basics are an add on.
Once your Precious Pup reaches 12 weeks old (specifically breeds that will require full grooming) it is recommended to consult with a trusted Dog Groomer and commence a personalised programme of visits leading up to their first full groom. Please note first full grooms are normally at 6 months. However, some dogs will matt easily therefore, it may be prudent to consider tidy / clip at 12 weeks after their jabs.

City and Guilds Level 2 & 3 affords a qualified groomer with skills (coupled with Uk Health and Safety and Animal Welfare best working practice knowledge) that allows them Professional Status. Therefore, it's a pleasure to pass on knowledge gained to support your dogs wellbeing.
You can book an informative guidance session with me bringing in your own dog to bath ( safely, as did you know some breeds of dogs are very! vulnerable to life threatening incidents), dry (using different methods), brush out (getting to know those brushes and which one), touching on using de-matting equipment for one or two loose matts (not! clogged to the skin types) safe nail trimming, teeth brushing and ear cleaning guidance. However, this will not include any instruction on how to cut or clip any areas of a dog, these are specialist skills for qualified practitioners only.

Firstly, I am a dog owner and can fully appreciate the demands of maintaining dogs, on our time and wallets .
Secondly, unless you are trained it is not always easy to know when a dog is actually matted to the skin some people bush them regularily and are very shocked (especially double coated breeds) to discover it is the top coat that has only been attended too.
Thirdly, my aim is to support owners and their companions offering a non judgemental service and allowing for positive longstanding partnerships to begin or one off support appointments to simply get you back to square one 👍🏼😀.
Fourthly, you have made steps to contact PepaPots Parlour because you care about your dog's wellbeing anyway.
Finally, anything pertaining to any of my clients is kept strictly private and confidential and never disclosed. The only exception to this would be my obligation to report any obivious animal abuse.
PepaPots has a no tolerance Policy in order to protect other client's animals and my own. If fleas or contagious skin problems are not disclosed before or at appointments the dog will be bathed using PPE and treatment shampoo (facilitating their wellbeing) and I will call the owner to explain. I will kindly request collection and the dog will be wrapped up to dry off at home and encouraged to seek veterinary support before re-booking if the skin is unhealthy. The original appointment charge will still apply with a further £15 charge to phone and delay next clients, allowing for cross contamination deep cleaning before re-commencing.
These things do happen and they are understood by PepaPots and I will always be understanding, and support you with advice.

PepaPots is a one to one service. Therefore, these situations will not only affect my business day but, also other clients too. I would ask kindly that you make every effort to avoid lateness however, that said , out of our control situations can occur so phoning PepaPots immediately will be so helpful. One offs are understandable but, frequent repeats will incur a compensation payment of £5 after 10 minutes. I do not use cages to house dogs safely interim but, I do have space that can be sectioned, safely.

PepaPots cannot schedule appointments for puppies until they have had their 2nd vaccine, this is vital in protecting their health.
It is recommended that dogs have yearly boosters, wormer, regular flea treatment and kennel cough and whilst high standards of cleaning are undertaken at all times to help prevent cross contamination , PepaPots cannot accept any responsibility should this occur.
PepaPots warmly welcomes rescued/adopted dogs however, please do ensure they have been fully checked by a vet with a clean bill of health as well as microchip ownership in place.
I have a duty of care to my own precious dogs and all my clients dogs so , please kindly ensure your dogs are well and healthy before requesting an appointment.
